Greenhope Selected In Fashion For Good South Asia Innovation Programme

Jakarta, 13 April 2021 - We are immensely proud and thrilled to announce that Greenhope has been selected as one of the ten innovators to take part in the Fashion for Good South Asia Innovation Programme. 

Fashion for Good is a global initiative to make all fashion good through a circular fashion approach that is restorative and regenerative by design. The Fashion for Good offers startups in the region to scale their technologies, products, and services by connecting them with the Fashion for Good’s partners. Alongside close mentoring from industry experts and partners, Greenhope will be able to expand to the fashion industry. 

Does Greenhope design and manufacture clothes now? Not exactly! We leave that part to the fashion designers and manufacturers out there. This means expanding our innovations to the fashion world and collaborate with fashion brands to solve less obvious problems in the fashion supply chain, including but not limited to:

• polybag or packaging that protects items when they're being shipped out; or

• the shoe sole; or

• yarn made out cassava starch; or

• any materials that are currently made of conventional plastics!

This mission will only be possible through co-designing and partnerships created through this program. We are excited to learn more and join forces with everyone else who shares the same mission.
