Representing Indonesia at the World Economic Forum, Greenhope Promotes Eco-friendly Green Technology

As one of the companies actively engaged in nature conservation in the economic sector, Greenhope has successfully taken a big role in the World Economics Forum 2023 event by being selected again to represent Indonesia. The event was held from 16 to 20 January in Davos-Klosters, Switzerland. With the Schwab Foundation for Social Entrepreneurship as the main organiser.

Tommy Tjiptadjaja, CEO of Greenhope, said that Greenhope had the opportunity to attend the 2023 Annual Meeting which brought together many representatives from well-known international companies. Greenhope also managed to become one of the 16 innovator companies recognised by The Schwab Social Innovation Forum Awards.

‘Greenhope is also one of 435 leading innovators operating in more than 190 countries. This shows Greenhope's role in enhancing the change of social life model from negative consumptive to positive production and consumption,’ said Tommy, Jakarta (21/1/2023).

He added, with the hope that in the future Greenhope can become an agent of change in advancing equality, balance of development and preservation of nature through business based on social and economic development.

On this occasion, Greenhope also became one of the companies that successfully ran a social media campaign with The Schwab Foundation.

The social media campaign was launched through Twitter, LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, and WeChat and Weibo specifically for the World Economic Forums. Meanwhile, the campaign focusing on the Schwab Foundation for Social Entrepreneurship was launched through social media such as Twitter, LinkedIn, Facebook, and Instagram.

‘Hopefully, Greenhope can continue to be an agent of change that successfully represents Indonesia in other international forums in the following year. Moreover, Greenhope has proven its ability to provide awareness and encourage nature conservation in Indonesia through business and economic development in Indonesia,’ he said.

Greenhope is one of the companies engaged in environmentally friendly green technology. Greenhope has three world-renowned eco-friendly plastic raw material technology products. Oxium is the trademark of Greenhope's famous additive which is predicted to be an affordable solution to make conventional plastics cheap to decompose in landfills.

Then there is also Ecoplas, and Naturloop which are plastic raw materials made from renewable cassava and other plants. Ecoplas and Naturloop are the latest generation of environmentally friendly plastics that have the ability to decompose in less than 2 years for Ecoplas and Naturloop can be composted.

Moreover, Greenhope is also actively collaborating with manufacturers and national community organisations in distributing these products that can reduce potential damage to nature. The hope is that Greenhope's three products can be a solution to tackle pollution and waste, thereby improving the quality of life of the wider community.

Seeing Greenhope's products as a green economy solution, Greenhope was chosen to represent Indonesia at the World Economics Forum. In this event, Greenhope emphasised the importance of raising awareness of earth care at large.
